Went to Milk and Honey for Easter Brunch. I Was apprehensive because the reviews for service were not good. Thought we would be waiting for quite a while. We had a Wonderful experience! The place was extemely busy because of the holiday but felt very festive. They greeted us at the door and thanked us for arriving on time. We were seated in a manner of minutes and our server KJ could not have been more professional or attentive. The food was delicious! Gumbo, chicken and waffles and salmon BLT were amazing. Thanks Milk and Honey for a Wonderful Meal!

Everything was great especially the drinks. The only downside was they were out of the majority of their menu items.

I absolutely love this place every time I go to DC, which is often I will be making a stop here as we were in the restaurant we made reservations for Mother’s Day. This is absolutely a must go to When visiting DC. The food was absolutely delicious those Biscoff waffles and chicken Kiss the chef kiss the chef 1 million times.

The food was top notch. I’m pretty picky with fried chicken and this was sooooo good. Drinks were good as well. Sweet but not too sweet and complex enough to be interesting.

The food is very good. The service is sub-par. We really enjoyed the food however half of our meals were served cold and we weren’t even done with eating our appetizers when they served the main meals. Getting a cup of water was also painful.

Unfortunately, this was a bust. The prices are wildly high for the quality. I shouldn’t spend $30+ on a salad that made me feel queasy afterward. The service was okay, but the food came without silverware and I had to go to the bar to ask for it since no one was around. The bar was extremely messy and dirty, and I ended up getting silverware from another empty table anyway. Please invest in training for your staff. And for a pricey/fancy restaurant on the Wharf, I would’ve expected more.

Biscuits and catfish were great! Side dishes could be hotter as in temperature. Waitress was amazing. The tea made by the waitress was excellent! They had no collard greens. The manager made everything right… he was great! Overall experience is goid.

Food was amazing but service was really slow. Our drinks took 20 minutes, we had no silverware so had to chase down the waitress and our appetizers came out with our main dish. They thought we were from out of town, but we live local. I got a sense that they treat tourists much differently than locals. They kept saving “I hope you’re enjoying your trip” and “have a nice trip”. Finally, we said we live in DC, which they were surprised. I got a sense that they had a different section for tourists versus locals. It’s too bad, the food was really good, but unfortunately service was terrible
