   I enjoyed Midnights...the food was great and our waiter was kind and attentive. Despite arriving late for my reservation, the hostess was welcoming and really sweet and kept our table for us. I'm, looking forward to going back again on a cold night....the ambiance was perfect to get intimate and have great conversation.

   We went to Midnights for dinner at 7:30pm on a Sunday night, not exactly an unusual time for dinner, however of the 5 meals we tried to order, they were out of 4 of them. Supposedly they lost a chef that day or something, but that has never happened to me at a restaurant before. Especially considering the menu is not that large, so there were not many alternatives to choose from. They also ran out of the bottle of wine we chose. It took 40 minutes between the appetizer and the meal. I asked them what was going on and they gave us a round of drinks on the house, however that does not make up for what was generally a very disappointing experience to what seemed like a promising restaurant.

   Food was good, not great. Food took a very long time with no explanation. We didn't get our entrees until after an hour of waiting (granted we had appetizers first).

   Staff was outstanding and very warm. We had an amazing dinner. Loved the outdoor patio. Exactly what I was looking for when I picked the place out for a date. Thanks Midnights!

   The server was really attentive, friendly, and offered suggestions. I liked the mussels, and the pot roast was ok...the burger tasted a bit off to me. The cocktails were delicious. We were one of very few people on a Monday night in August. Sitting outside was lovely.

   Pros: The have a nice, cozy garden. The service was good. Cons: Nobody in our party liked the food.

   Went for dinner and had an amazing time there. We had the oysters, trout and half chicken with the Bill Murray and bieber drinks. All of it was great. Staff was extremely friendly (a little slow but they apologized with a free drink, so yeah, apology accepted). I would recommend without hesitation.

   The waitress was completely overwhelmed and was impossible to track down for ordering or a drink refill. We waited over an hour for our appetizers which were followed A MINTUTE later by our entrees. Our waitress was no where to be found again so we could order a drink. Once she arrived halfway through our meal, she did not apologize for our table full of plates, gave me a wine list and disappeared for 20 minutes without returning in time for me to actually order anything. Having finished our meal (the food was good, but we lost our appetite due to the crazy bad service), we asked for the check so we could escape. I live in the neighborhood and wanted to love this place! Too bad.

   Nice neighborhood find. Attractive bar and pleasant, relaxing patio for a summer evening. The starters were particularly good. I thought the fish and chips were good, but nothing exceptional for the price. Our other main course, a shrimp dish, was excellent. The wine list was extensive, but pricey, although our choice was excellent. Our waiter was laid back (in his finest T shirt), but did a very good job.

    We went this past weekend with a Gilt City tasting menu. We hadn't been there yet, so we had high hopes but were prepared for anything. We sat out back in the lovely and serene outdoor garden. We proceeded to enjoy an outstanding and innovative 6ish course tasting menu with wine pairings. We really had no complaints. Everything from the service, to the hip and fun music, to the food was exactly what we were hoping for. It was a beautiful night that we won't soon forget!
