Everything went perfect. Since the moment we arrived. The seating was as requested, the service flawless, the staff friendly and helpful and the food delicious. All I can say is congrats for being a great restaurant!

Great find! We live in the south bag and needed a place to meet friends who live in Orange County, so we picked Michael’s based on reviews and it was better than we expected—staff friendly and knowledgeable, great ambiance, and excellent food.

Outstanding service and food. Six stars if possible. We get to this area once a year as we are from San Diego, and this was our second visit to Michael's. We happened in on a night that was restaurant week, so they had specials for that event, and in addition a wine dinner with the winery representative from Italy, who had just flown in. Our server Paul provided us an outstanding explanation of the menu, the specials, and the wine dinner. We opted for the wine dinner where the dishes were pared with an array of wines that were not only excellent, but very reasonable (and available for purchase). I must admit that when I read the paring, that I might not have selected one or two of the wines with the dish, but what did I know, as they were a perfect matches. Hats off to the team that put the meal of five dishes and wines together. The winery rep Dr. Tiziana Sani Bulleri from Fattoria Uccelliers took the time to stop and chat with us. We had been in the area of their winery in Tuscany, but were not familiar with them. Will be on our list if we return. All in all an exceptional evening of food and service from the time we walked in until the time we left. A most enjoyable evening that we will remember. Looking forward to returning next year.

One of our best dining experiences ever. The service was perfect and the food was amazing. The combinations of flavors and presentations were superb.

For the price, I expected lot more. Dishes in general are good, but won’t blow your mind, some are just fine. Didn’t ask but got charged for tap water, $1 per glass.... it’s one of those things that just doesn’t make sense, it changes nothing in terms of the total bill, but in the end is annoying. I have to say that service is very good, from the hostess, to the server, to the helpers. Bottom line, I will probably try another Italian restaurant in the area next time

The food was good but overpriced for what we ordered. The ambiance is a bit dated. Our waiter had really bad breath :-(
