   We celebrated a special occasion with our large family at Michaelangelo's and, overall, enjoyed our dinner here. The food was excellent, and the restaurant decor/ambiance appeared cozy and attractive. The only downsides for us were 1. Our table location (despite making our reservation over a month in advance, our table seemed to be an "extra" table set up in an area which would normally not be used for dining, i.e. next to server station with a view of the underside of the bar and an exit. This is not a huge deal, but it does take away from the overall experience, especially when celebrating an occasion); and 2. We were waited on by multiple people over the course of the evening, despite an introduction by one server at the beginning of the meal, which made the experience a little disjointed. We would love to give this place another try the next time we are in Big Sky.

   Fantastic dinner from beginning to end. Fabulous wine list with tremendous menu from the appetizers to the desserts. Service was outstanding and the ambiance was perfect for our party. Would recommend this restaurant for any occasion !

   The Prosciutto Di Parma e Melone had too large of a tasteless honeydew. The Insalada Di Rucola con limoncello was nice to be able to get it without onions but the arugula had no peppery flavor and was just flat tasting. The Risotto con porcini e Tartufata doesn't list garlic and it was overpowering with garlic...could not finish it. The Ravioli both quarto formaggi and di bufala were very good. Your bread is wonderful.

   The food here is excellent. Our pasta dishes were as good as any we have eaten anywhere. There is a focus on freshness and flavor that is lacking in many restaurants. I would highly recommend this one.

   The restaurant was not busy for an early dinner reservation. Not sure they were entirely on their game that night. I ordered a salad that was essentially tasteless and not worth the price. The gnocchi and tortellini entrees were tasty but order the small portion unless you have a huge appetite. Service was fine but there were only three tables occupied in the entire restaurant, so I would expect it to be good. The table next to us had to have corrections made to their order several times before it was done properly. I should have sent the salad back as it was definitely sub-par. This place was recommended by a local who travels and dines out extensively, so we were surprised at the mediocrity of the food.

    The salmon was amazing, some of the best I've had. The table was waiting when we arrived and the service from everyone was great. This is the second time I've gone to this restaurant when visiting Big Sky. Highly recommend.
