   The food was good. I’m vegetarian and I was pleased to see so many vegetarian and vegan options. There was a huge selection of mezcal and reposados so we enjoyed the drinks. Finished with the citrus infused tres leche (YUM!!). We will definitely go back.

   I had a quick bite before a show next-door at anthem and would describe the food as more modern Mexican but nothing to write home about. I had to request silverware and I asked three different servers for salt, but it never showed up hence the low rating on service.

   Best meal we’ve had in DC so far. Carne Asada and enchiladas suizas were delicious. Fresh, absolutely delicious guacamole!!!

   The host was undoubtedly awesome! She was accommodating and so pleasant! It was an older African American and the staff was being rude while she was engaging us and she handled it perfectly! The server and manager upstairs were awesome and the food was to die for.

   I went to Mi Vida for a solo dinner and the staff made me feel welcome and attended to. I ordered Enchiladas Sucias with plátanos and they were both absolutely delicious. I wish I had more of the plátanos right now. I also had two alcoholic drinks which were also great. I never finish one drink, let alone two. The citrus tres leche cake was also delicious. I don’t like my tres leche too wet and this was the perfect balance and so light and fluffy. I would certainly go here again.

    Delicious, authentic food! Beautiful ambiance, restaurant was gorgeous and large but feels intimate. Looking over the Wharf at night is beautiful.
