   This place is a gem. Ethiopian and Caribbean cuisine and a drink list to go with the theme. The food was so delicious! We'll definitely go back! So many other items on the menu I want to try.

   A new experience and adventurous. Our waitress was delightful, the food was unique and delicious, and I look forward to my next trip to KC for more Mesob.

   Parking can be a pain if the Uptown is having an event during your dining hours. The servers were warm and welcoming. It was the hubs first time with Ethiopian cuisine an he was pleased with his meal. We sat at the bar and shared the Signature Shrimp app and the Meat Combination. Food was fresh, seasoned properly, and presented beautifully. I plan on venturing over to the Caribbean menu upon my next visit.

   I have to admit-I was a little nervous to try this place out. I've never had Ethiopian or Caribbean cuisine before. This place was recommended by a friend. Took my co-workers here for a meeting. It was amazing! Our waitress was awesome and so helpful! And you can buy some of their sauces (and creme liquor) to take home. Can't wait to bring my husband here for a date night!

   this place is truly a diamond in the ruff. Never had Ethiopian food before and i was blown away by what i tasted. The combination platter was a great way to get a little of everything. Others in our party had the grilled red snapper which was out of this world!

   Only two servers.waited forever for drinks. Waited longer for food. When food got there it was cold. Not everyone got their food at the same time. Band was too loud. Server was friendly but service was deplorable

   Service was fantastic, friendly, and knowledgeable. She made excellent suggestions since this was our first time dining there. Food was tasty and hot. Prices were slightly higher than expected, but similar to most bistros in KC. Great value. Great food.

    This was our first time here. I read some reviews prior to dining so I knew it was going to be a long dining experience. ( Which I appreciated knowing) Service was long and a bit of time passes between courses however, the service and food was awesome. Our server made some great recommendations and answered all of our questions. I chose this place for my birthday and was not disappointed. The red snapper was very tasty and the bread pudding was to die for. I love trying new authentic foods. This place is a hidden gem in our neighborhood and highly recommend. Just be prepared to wait.
