   Great food with their own spin on every dish. They seem to try hard to make the food interesting as well as tasty. A great place if a Vegan is coming along!

   My family and I are very impressed with Mesa Mercado fitting in to the Carmichael community as as fun, family friendly restaurant serving authentic Mexican reginal unique savory food and meals.

   Excellent food with great Vegan options. Food was fresh and prepared with obvious attention to detail.

   Went on Cinco d Mayo. Crowded and first table we sat at was next to kitchen and cold vent blowing air right down on us. Had to move to bar. Service very slow. I had cheese enchiladas. Probably the worst cheese enchilada I had. Red sauce was not good. Music was good but they started playing too late in evening to where most people started leaving. Then after about four songs they took half hour break. Should have kept playing. I just felt disappointed. Could have been much better. Also when I made my reservations I used open table they never even looked on computer to check me in so it showed as no show. Not ok

   Not as great as their other restaurants. The portions are perfect, but not if you enjoy leftovers the next day. The food wasn't hot. We never got the chips we ordered. However, the food was good.

   We’ve been to this establishment many time before without issue which is why we decided to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday at this location. They must have been terribly understaffed on this day because the food took forever to come out and the poor server was running around the establishment trying to do the best he could. However, service was slow overall. Hopefully this was a one time experience because we really enjoy this authentic Mexican restaurant.

   We had 8 pm reservations for four on a Saturday night. We waited at least 5 minutes to be greeted and sat. Took waiter another 5 minutes to come to our table. We ordered guacamole as an appetizer but hated having to mix it ourselves. And who puts bell pepper in their guacamole? No one was overly impressed with entrees. Rice was undercooked. Tacos needed more sauce. We did enjoy the mango starter. The margarita was good. Also appreciate the vegan menu and authentic recipes. Just need to step up service and flavors.

   I love that they have a vegan menu! I got the enchiladas and everything on the plate had a flavor on its own so every bite was a delicious medley in my mouth. The mango margarita was also very yummy with its smoky hints. We went on Valentine's Day so it was a bit busy. Good thing we didn't need the servers very often because they got things right and we didn't need to hunt them down for anything else we needed. Seems like they have musicians on certain nights. It added more to the overall ambiance. It's a casual place, but still has an air of something special.

   we got seated right away with our reservations, server was very nice and helpful with suggestions. Food came out fast and was really good too. Margaritas were really good.

    Food and drinks were good, service was horrible. Set your expectations low and hope for the best.
