An adventure that takes you into the woods just off the beaten path to a historic cape house built in the mid 1700’s on a retired berry farm beautifully landscaped. Taste and experience our signature dishes from our Blueberry Stuffed French Toast to our selection of Benedicts from Traditional, Portobello to our House-made Lobster Cakes. Looking for something more substantial, we offer a selection of sandwiches and 8 oz beef burgers that are made from freshly ground chuck from our local butcher, Shields, delivered daily. Pair your meal with a choice of a specialty beverage of Mimosas, Maine Craft Beer or Wine. Definitely a special discovery awaits over the river and through the the woods…

Went for beakfast on the last day of their season. Sat by the fireplace. Olivia, our server, was very attentive. The food was delicious. Will be back in 2024.

Magical little place with a great menu and good people. Tucked away down a gorgeous road. If you are looking for a great meal in a storybook setting this is the place. Sunny and bright on the patio in the Summer and warm and cozy inside when it is cooler.

Our first visit. We were looking for somewhere nearby that served brunch as was open past noon. Merriland Farm Cafe fit the bill. It wasn't very busy the day we went. Service was great and noise level was very low, allowing us to have a good conversation with our friends. There was a nice range of both breakfast and lunch items on the menu, including some unusual Eggs Benedicts. Merriland Farm Cafe also has a drinks menu that includes beer and wine.

Showed up early and would not seat us sooner that actual reservation time, even though there was an open table reservation spot still open for the earlier time. Also, could not wait at the bar or order a drink while waiting. The home fries were ok. Plus, they had a bee problem with outdoor tables.

I have always had a fantastic experience here..the staff were akways great, and the food was incredible...unfortunately, the restaurant changed owners, and the food was only mediocre...the eggs Benedict was barely warm..the hollandaise sauce was spicy, and not that good at all...the house potatoes were bland...the hostess was super welcoming, and our server was very nice...I didn't ever remember entering the restaurant from the back previously....the bar area was where you went to get seated ...nice folks, but things seemed a little unorganized....and they need to get the old chef back...
