   Once a month, being wine club members, we always grab some dinner before picking up our bottles. I had the bison burger and side salad. The burger was juicy and delicious with generous toppings. My partner had their grilled cheese sandwich. I can't imagine find a better one in the 757. The above was accompanied by a fine bottle of nebiolo. As always, a great experience!

   The beet salad is perfect. Steve’s sweet, crunchy, candied nuts always just feel so right in my mouth, paired with the most delectable house made dressing. If you’re out and about on shore drive, ask to try Steve’s nuts! Your mouth will thank you.

   We had amazing dinner for my mom’s birthday! The chef’s menu provided us with a delicious experience. The servers were so nice—they even brought my mom a glass of rosé with a birthday candle!

   Our group of six visited Mermaid Winery for our New Year's Eve dinner. It was a three-course dinner with choices of pork belly, scallops, crabmeat-stuff lobster, filet mignon, and various sweets for dessert. The portions were quite small, so I can't give top marks for value, though each was of very good quality. They served excellent wine with dinner — not their own, which turned out to be fortunate because two of our party sampled a couple of Mermaid's dry reds and came away with expressions that were not at all pretty. Regardless, the atmosphere, service, and food made the overall experience a great finish for the year. I'd certainly recommend Mermaid for the ambiance, service, and quality of the food.

    We went for our 25th Anniversary and it was a decent experience. The food was just ok. The scallops were cooked ok, but were very small. The best course was the entree. I had a cornbread and crabbed stuffed lobster. The flavor was amazing. The dessert items were decent as well. It was a a great price but I would have rather paid a higher fee with better food.
