Merlot Restaurant in Etobicoke, Ontario, is a traditional French bistro that serves southern, northern and south-western French cuisine in a relaxed environment. Guests at Merlot can enjoy the patio seating while feasting on duck confit or cassoulet, or trying escalope de veau au calvados in the cozy dining room. The menu at Merlot also features favorites such as quiche and poached salmon, in addition to authentic French dinners such as grilled calf liver. There are also steak and seafood dishes, so that anyone can enjoy lunch or dinner in Merlot. The dessert menu includes local favorites such as lemon tarts, tarte aux pommes, mousse and more.

    Best experience! We were able to talk and be heard without too much background noise. The food and service were praise worthy. A memorable evening……keep up the good work.

    Always love our dinners at Merlot. The food is amazing and the servers are always lovely. I highly recommend this restaurant.

    I took clients out for dinner on a Thursday evening. The food was delicious. We enjoyed the salmon and chicken chausseur dishes from the main menu. The waitress helped us to choose a bottle of French wine that was reasonably priced and took into consideration my client's palate. Unfortunately the restaurant was very loud and the decor does not contain any materials that dampen the sound. We were seated at the back of the restaurant. Perhaps sitting closer to the front would have been quieter.
