   A truly spectacular meal and experience. It's a shame that the restaurant was slated to close but we were extremely happy to have been able to make a reservation before they closed. I'm hoping that the owner and chef have plans for a new restaurant.

   Rich food! 7 course was a lot of food. You will leave full with a 5 course. They give you a goodie bag at the end but the bag is nicer than the goodies, amazing idea but for a restaurant like this need to match the quality.

   Incredible attention to detail! We enjoyed the 5 course menu with wine pairings, along with little extra courses such as the amuse-bouches and palate cleanser of sea buckthorn sorbet. We particularly loved the agnolotti with seared Hokkaido scallop and truffle. A real delight!

   The food quality was excellent but the portion sizes were slightly inadequate for the amount the meal cost. A half portion bigger on most plates would have been very fair and welcomed! The service was efficient but a little too uptight and pretentious. There’s no need to have three separate servers bring plate each to the table and deposit the plates in a synchronized manner. The goody bag was an overkill and frankly a waste of a paper bag, tissue and box! As much it was a nice gesture, it simply emphasized why the meal cost so much. By eliminating these types of extras, the price of the meal could have been reduced by a solid $10. It’s sad that this restaurant is closing but I easily see why that is. There just isn’t an appetite in this city for that type of uptightness be it in the service or the ambiance the restaurant is trying to create. A restaurant with an equal level of execution and quality ingredients is the Wellington Gastropub where the ambiance and the service is much more welcoming and the added non essentials are nonexistent. In any case, I hope to have an opportunity to indulge in Chef Bratsberg’s culinary genius at some point in the future...perhaps in a setting that is much warmer and where the food is the thing that does the speaking!

   Great service. 9 course great experience. The Wagu beef was not top notch . It was not evenly marbled as would be expected. It was overly exposed with fat which normally would not be expected. Other than that, it was great.
