   We both very much enjoyed the food, the cocktails and the service. Quirky place with b&w movies on the wall ;)

   Ambiance and service were perfect - really chilled place but very attentive and high standard service. Saw a man in a wheelchair handled brilliantly. Food delicious and very reasonable - we had the set menu. Loved it.

   We are long term Crouch Enders but this was the first time we have visited this restaurant. The food was good and the menu was good value (it was Friday lunch time) so we got the 2 courses for £xx (can't remember how much!) but we all enjoyed our food. The staff were very nice and accommodating as well. The only negative was 2 children being left to run up and down and scream their heads off for the first hour we were there! This can't be blamed on the restaurant obviously, but be aware if you plan on day time dining, that it does attract families.

   Our first time at Melange. Outstanding service, (please send our thanks to the staff serving us on New Years Day), excellent food, their Fine Apple tart is to die for!!! The fillet steak beautifully cooked. Great ambience, will definitely recommend to friends and family and will go again.

   The place to lunch or dine out in Crouch End - good selection in the menu, child-friendly, good kitchen and tasty dishes - what more do you want? Quick and attentive service almost a rule.

   Had an early dinner on a Sunday after film at Crouch End ArtHouse and were extremely satisfied. Attentive and quick service (a few seconds after the last sip of wine was gone, the waitress was there to ask for refill :). Good selection of starters and mains at very reasonable prices, and when they arrived, delicious, too :) One asset worth mentioning is that one can have a good conversation there - plenty of space around tables and no background noise. Will definitely revisit very soon!

   Went for my birthday dinner with family it was a very sweet and friendly environment. The place is child/baby friendly even at dinner times on a Saturday night. The desserts were fab!

    I had a steak and frites, very good, though the ordered steak to be rare, but it came more on the way to medium-rare. Meat was good quality and tasty, and frites fresh, green salad fresh and a good size. My companion had athe baked cod - which she enjoyed. Small mistakes in the starter orders, but overall friendly and modern-mode attentiveness.
