   Beautiful dining room and excellent service but the food was unfortunately subpar. The lamb loin was tough and dry. The filet was grainy. So disappointed because we were staying at the hotel and had such high expectations.

   Everything was absolutely outstanding. The food was fantastic. The service impeccable. The ambience gorgeous. Thank you for a beautiful Easter Holiday. The Bunnies were so adorable.

   This beautiful hotel is a treat just to sit and watch the sunset while sharing a couple cocktails. In addition to that, the salmon and stripped seabass were absolutely delicious. Service was excellent and the staff friendly and welcoming… watch out for the $12 valet parking charge, but oh well, that’s La Jolla. Really looking forward to our next time.

   It was a beautiful view and we had very attentive service. Our steak was exceptional! Michael was a great waiter and made our grandson's birthday very special.

    The Mediterranean Room at the La Valencia has always been a staple. The service is excellent. Our server had a welcoming smile and was helpful and professional. Our Cobb Salads (we all ordered the same thing) was outstanding. The greens were varied and abundant, the added chicken was tender, and the presentation was beautiful. It was a meal. The Pupusas were delicious as an appetizer. Different than the ordinary offerings in restaurants. I would recommend them and would order them again. The chocolate mousse Birthday Dessert was beautifully presented and so delicious. Thank you for making our girlfriend's birthday lunch one to be remembered.
