   While our party can certainly understand that the area of the restaurant is considered a very lively place, it boggled our minds as to why the restaurant had to play music so loud that most of us could not hear what we were saying to each other. Additionally, although overall service was excellent, at no point to acknowledge that we were celebrating a birthday or even ask. I highly recommend that if you intend to eat at this restaurant in the middle of the day on a weekend, you come prepared for brunch at 2 PM and be prepared to shout in order to make yourself understood. The food remains very good and consistent with the other three times that we have dined at this restaurant.

   Wow, what a great experience my first time there. Great service, great food and great atmosphere. I loved it all.

   We love going to Meat Market. The food, service, and atmosphere never disappoint. If you like seafood or steak and just a great experience- this place is a must.

   Another Great Time!! Hostess was able to seat us at our favorite table we requested. Food was on point as usual! Went for the Sea Bass this time which was great along w my usual sides of cream corn and Brussels sprouts. Gotta get the beef ribs , Guda totes and dumplings as an appetizer!! Must Haves!! Try the Fig Old Fashioned while you’re at it!!

   Food, staff and ambiance was top notch. We came to celebrate a birthday and all felt celebrated. It was a perfect experience and cannot wait to come back!

   I came here for my birthday with 3 gfs. They decided to place us next to a broken fan in the middle of the heat and would not sit us elsewhere or let us bring the umbrella next to us because that was for the 18 person table for the Florida Panthers men’s hockey team. We waited 25min before ordering for happy hour and we were rushed trying to get orders in to enjoy the deals. The oysters were small and disappointing. We received the bill and we were told it couldn’t be split and proceeded to split evenly 4 ways. My original meal of $50 turned into $90 based on everyone else’s drinks and food including the fact I never receiving a drink of mine that we were most likely charged. I asked for a receipt and wasn’t given one. The waitress didn’t even realize it was my birthday although it’s in the booking history until we asked her to take a photo at the conclusion of our meal. No food or drink given to celebrate. It was a lack luster experience and I wouldn’t come here for an important event again. The only reason for a 4 star on food was the Gouda potato bites and tuna tartare.

   5 Stars – Incredible Experience at Meat Market Tampa We had an amazing dinner at Meat Market Tampa, made truly exceptional by our server, Venay. He was friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and timed everything perfectly—making the entire evening feel seamless and relaxed. We started with the wagyu sushi and dumplings, and the gnocchi with bone marrow butter… all super rich and flavorful. The filets were cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and absolutely worth it. And the pistachio cream crème brûlée and cinnamon roll desserts were unforgettable. Venay’s service elevated the whole experience—attentive, professional, and personal in the best way. This was more than just a meal; it was a full-on experience. Can’t wait to come back!
