   Dinner reservations for 5:30 on Friday evening before we headed to the Ron White Show at the Casino Ballroom. Loved that McGuirks was on open table to take advantage of a reservation in this fun little east coast beach town. We were greeted and taken to our table immediately with a view of the beach and "boardwalk" activity. Our drink order was taken with minutes of being seated and once drinks (beer, wine, and cocktails) were served our order was taken. We ordered burgers and a chicken sandwich, saving a lobster roll for another time. Our burgers were tasty, and the chicken sandwich was good. If you expecting a Michelin star restaurant, then you will be disappointed, but if you are looking for place to sit and have a good meal for anyone of all ages, then stop by McGuirks, enjoy a drink and a sandwich. All in all, nice little seaside pub with a view. Would I return, most certainly.

   Made reservations, they seated us right away but we waited 45 minutes until I finally grabbed a waitress for drinks. We ordered food at the same time. After an hour and 30 minutes and having to ask a different waitress for drink refills we finally got our food. It was mediocre at best. We got three apps and one of our friends got their meal. After almost 2 and a half hours our other friend hadn’t gotten her meal so she cancelled her order. They gave us a hard time about taking it off the bill. Our waitress also spent most of her time on her phone and avoiding us like the plague.

   Caprese salad -$16. Tomato was less than ripe. Portion was small. Skewers of chicken and tips - $26. Chicken was good. Beef fair. American burger - no condiments delivered with it. Was cooked as desired. Side Caesar salad was average. Broccoli did not seem fresh.

   Food was ok but menu was extremely limited! A lot different than the old McQuirks. I won’t be back due to the limited food options!

   It’s never a miss at McGuirk’s. The food is fabulous and priced reasonably. The staff is cheerful, helpful and professional. Sit inside or out. We ate inside then to the outside for a couple of cocktails. Great time…ALWAYS!
