   Was not what I made reservations at all, overpriced and a total surprise when it came too meal. Very disappointed had nothing online when making reservation about menu and only having one thing on menu. Will not go back and not recommend.

   This is a beautiful venue/restaurant. Definitely a 5 star experience. Steak was perfection as was the crab stuffed avocado. Perfect for a date night :)

   Due to some kitchen issues, I would h a very rated higher. Overall place was great, but dinner took over an hour. Not sure if that is normal but we definitely would go again so long the it won't take as long. Again the place was amazing, been going to that theater when it was just a theater and glad it is being used again.

   While it is a challenge to find a gourmet style restaurant in Lewis County for dinner, it is even more rare that such fleeting moments survive beyond a year here. Once the word is out, there is a significant number of people who will keep coming back. It is true in the ratings that the food is excellent but also on the more expensive side $$$. But you get the benefit of well constructed recipes that are not typical for a small city. It is surprising that the management was able to take a movie theater and make it into a pleasant dining experience with the emphasis on quality rather than quantity.

   Really stunningly fantastic food, Chef Wheeler is a master of his craft. Genuinely lovely staff, and a lovely space in the old Chehalis theater.

   We had a wonderful meal to celebrate my birthday. I had the lamb, which could easily be shared. My daughter had trout, which was delicious! My husband had steak poutine which he loved! Go and enjoy. The service was a bit slow, but there was a large birthday gathering also. We had fun talking.

   McFiler's combines ingredients from local farms with inspired creativity to make truly authentic cuisine. Our food was elegantly presented and exquisitely flavorful. Head chef James Wheeler came out to make sure we were enjoying our food. A rare gem of a restaurant in rural NW.

    Overall, disappointed. We made a 7:30 pm reservation several days in advance. When we arrived, almost immediately we felt pressured to order and get moving. A DJ/concert event started at 8:00. We got our desserts to go (ordered in advance), no water refills, had to ask twice for a soda. My husband asked about the fish and chips; how many pieces was he getting? The server told him 3 to 4 good size pieces. When his plate arrived, he only got 2 small pieces! We were out of there within 45 minutes!! Our bill for 4 people was over $200. Usually when you are paying $50 per person, it comes with better, less rushed service. The food was just average, not worth the price. Maybe the chef was also rushed to get us in and out? Maybe decide if you want to be a restaurant or music venue or maybe don’t let people book a dinner reservation a half hour before the “show” starts. The pictures of the food looked amazing and I was so hopeful but the rush to hurry up and get out made it tough to savor and enjoy. That’s my favorite part of eating; taking my time and savoring. Certainly felt let down. And it was to celebrate my son’s birthday. 😩
