The food was excellent. We were a little frustrated that there was a charge for every piece of the meal- entree, side, salad, or bread. There isn't an early bird specials anymore. The waitress was very accommodating. We were given one drink free because they didn't have mint. So we waited and got the drink I wanted on the house.

Sadly they were out of Calamari. Roasted Brussel Sprouts topped w/ bacon bits were very flavorful, just serve me about four orders of those and I'd be happy! Seven Grain Bread is always a hit. We were comp'ed the Chuckanut Bay Cheesecake for our Anniversary, which was a welcome touch. The blackboard special Filet Mignon was topped w/ prawn and a sauce, but wasn't as expertly cooked as the last time I had Filet Mignon plain, i.e., w/o the prawn and sauce. Next time I'll skip the fancy preparation. The specialty Blended Burger (25% Crimini mushrooms and 75%) beef was cooked perfectly and was flavorful). Our server, Kelli, was efficient and took good care of us. I'm happy to live close enough to Max Dale's to revisit. Thanks for surviving during the pandemic.

prawns were small and over cooked wedge salad did not have steak bits, rather some other type of non flavorful meat onion rings were excellent I will recommend but was really disappointed in food, last two times we were the same type of food was great. what happened?

I love this restaurant and will go back as often as I can. It’s a large, warm, and inviting place with lots of interior wood design and the luxury of private booths. The food was great, they have an extensive cocktail bar with interesting drinks, and the wine list had some wonderful items to choose from, both by the glass and the bottle. The service was excellent, and they offer other perks that I encourage you to explore by promoting this restaurant with your attendance. I will go back whenever possible again and again.

Great chop! Thick and juicy. The local Strawberry ice cream, for dessert, was very good also. Waitress was very good.
