Two of us ordered the catch of the day…mistake…very dry and no flavor. Chicken was okay, wouldn’t order again. I ordered salad and they brought chicken rather than the shrimp I had asked for. They did correct.

We’re experienced Maui travelers and know nearly every restaurant on the Island. Maura Makai is located in Westin’s Nanea that is a resort near the Westin Kaanapali Villas. It’s has an ocean view, great ambience, and excellent service. I recommend the cocunut shrimp (5) pcs and the curry was very good. I had the seafood market special that was marlin. I would say this restaurant offers great food and value. I would highly recommend!

Food here is mediocre at best, suggest if you're able to go to Duke's next door. This was poor value, food tasted like it was cooked in a microwave. Wouldn't recommend. For the price, food was very bad. Service was good, but can't make up for crappy food.

The manager came and visited us at our table and was so great:) Also, we were celebrating our 50th Anniversary and gave us the most beautiful dessert!!! The view was incredible and the restaurant is designed beautifully!
