   Erica was an awesome server, sommelier was on point with the wine choice and the general manager Sam was very welcoming. Great night.

   An stunning restaurant, modern steakhouse with the best of houston high society. Expect billionaire cars, billionaires and alike. The only critique might be that the bar is very small but apart from that everything is top notch. The service is fantastic, the food incredible. Try the Cauliflower with truffle. Pretty Incredible. The snapper with king crab really good and the whole ambiance too. Live music, beautiful people and smartly dressed. And the bill, accordingly but I must say significantly less than Steak 48 and in my opinion better.

   The waiter made my teenaged daughter and I feel very uncomfortable when she asked for nonalcoholic drink options. He made a slick joke and I told him she cannot have alcohol because she is still a child. He replied and said, “Well it is getting harder to tell nowadays.” He was sort of cold and just overall not a good waiter and to top it off, it was my birthday dinner. He made us feel very uncomfortable.

   We ALWAYS have a great time and meal there. We go there frequently because they are consistently excellent.

   I had an amazing time for my birthday weekend. We were seated by the water fall which was beautiful. We ordered the pan seared sea bass and crab fried rice and it was a 10 out of 10. 100% recommend!!

   From the valet service, the hostess, and the waiter the service was excellent. The ambience of the restaurant was great, I myself would have liked a little bit more light, overall it was great. The meal was outstanding! The Rockefeller Oysters were tasty and the Roasted Bone Marrow were excellent. The steaks were delicious and tender. One of the best steakhouses I’ve been to in Houston. Keep up the amazing work and service. I will be back again!

    This was my third time at Mastro’s. Both last and this time, I felt the chef is very heavy on salting the steak. The first time I visited Mastro’s more than 3 yrs ago, I had rated the steak to be superior than Steak 48. Everything else was a great experience as usual and expected. I’ll come back but please address the salt content if you guys have received similar feedback from your clients (and I’m a person who generally eats more salt saying this). Thank you!
