    The service was horrible. The appetizer never arrived and our server never pay attention to us the whole entire evening.. Very disappointed!

    My husband, daughter, and I had a fantastic time at Mastro's Ocean Club celebrating our daughter's college graduation. We asked to be seated with a view of the ocean, and they were able to accommodate us with a seat on the open-air patio. Fernando, our server, was attentive, experienced, and helpful, and he really helped make our night so enjoyable. All the food was incredible: two different cuts of ribeye, creamed spinach, mac and cheese, baked potato, and butter cake. We never felt rushed and had a night to remember. Oh, and they added a note to our menus ("Happy graduation!"), which was a special touch. The only downside was the $50 corkage fee. With a fee that high, they obviously don't want you bringing your own wine, but we were celebrating with a special bottle, so the high corkage fee was disappointing. :( Except for that, we had a fantastic time.

    We had a wonderful dining experience. We sat outside by the fireplace and we preferred that location since it was extremely busy inside (Saturday night) and the noise and energy level was more relaxing. The live entertainment inside was super talented and there were speakers on the patio so we could hear it from our table. We had a gorgeous ocean view, service was impeccable and we didn’t feel rushed whatsoever. Our reservation was on June 21, 2025 at 6:45PM.

    I’ve been coming to Mastro’s for years—it’s long been my go-to spot for special occasions in Orange County. While I still love the atmosphere and overall experience, our visit last night didn’t meet the usual standard. Service was slower than expected, and the order had a couple of mix-ups. That said, I know off nights can happen, and I’m hopeful this was just one of them. Looking forward to getting back to the Mastro’s I know and love.

    Spoiled Steak is a major disappointment. Now my second time having a disappointing experience at Mastros. Poor meat quality. The Landry’s difference is seen and it’s not good.

    We had a lovely evening. The restaurant is impressive, the service is amazing and the food was delicious. This is truly a restaurant that is head and shoulders above most others. The prices are premium, but not that premium and the portions are large and often shareable. We would not hesitate to return.
