   Service was disappointing Ordered cocktails and received 35 minutes later after our main dishes arrived. Waiter very nice personally but rarely came by to check on us. Once every 20 mins at best. Located in booth near restroom was not pleasant. Second time at same table. All food was delivered 30-40 mins after placing specific order. We’re Laker season ticket regulars.

   First time checking out this new location downtown. The service was superior and the ambiance was exceptional. I had my usual Berry Dream, crab cakes, and filet mignon. This was a highlight of my Good Friday 2025!

   Everyone was very friendly and 10/10 service it was my best friends birthday and they definitely made her feel special on her day very attentive !food was also great

   Mastro’s Ocean Club in Downtown LA has quickly become the favorite location out of all their spots. While the Beverly Hills and Malibu locations have their own charm, the DTLA outpost really stands out with its sophisticated, vibrant ambiance—elegant but with a bit more edge and energy, which I love. The food, as expected from Mastro’s, is absolutely gorgeous. Every dish is rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared—from the seafood towers to the steak, it never disappoints. The service isn’t the strongest part of the experience—it can be a bit slow or inattentive at times—but the quality of the food more than makes up for it. My only real gripe is the parking situation. The valet is either missing entirely or, when present, charges an unreasonable rate. For a high-end spot in the heart of downtown, I’d expect something a bit more reliable and fair when it comes to parking. Still, Mastro’s DTLA remains my top choice for a luxe dinner out in the city. The atmosphere and food make it well worth a visit—just plan ahead for parking.

    We had to ask our waiter to take our appetizer order and he never took our entrée order. Weirdest thing ever.
