   I loved my experience here. Food was excellent. I never such indian food before, Service was sublime. I told my server Babu that we were celebrating birthday, He literally gave some surprise with Indian dessert. Excellent and friendly staff, Will definitely come back.Perfect ambiance and beautiful beach. Amazing food.

   We were somewhat disappointed in the food. It has been recommended by an Indian person, but compared to Indian food I've had elsewhere it was so-so. Also, we were served only one smallish bowl of rice for 4 people.

   I took my Indian date to this restaurant on Valentine's Day after making a reservation ahead of time. They attempted to seat us at a table just inches from other patrons. When we requested more space the hostess became very uncooperative. There were other tables but we were told they were "reserved". I had to remind her I took had "reserved" a table. We were eventually given a bigger table, however the server Ethan was very slow to take our order, after verbally admitting he was "sorry, I forgot about you". I ordered a diet Coke and he informed me they were "out of all diet products". He never checked on us once during the meal and maintained a flippant attitude the entire time. There was, however, a bus staff member who was absolutely excellent (he happened to be Indian) and was SUPER cool. He arranged for us to get a dish not on the menu that was AMAZING. The food was the saving grace, it was delicious. But man, what a hassle the entire experience was. Will not be going back.

   One of the better options in Santa Barbara for Indian food in my opinion. Decent service too.

   Disappointing food. The rice did not taste fresh, as if it had been reheated in a microwave and was served Luke warm. The chicken kabobs had little flavor and tasted undercooked.

   Need way more comfortable chairs and an upgrade on ambiance but good food and nice to have on the Mesa!
