Hawaii branch of Michelin Tokyo selected restaurant Margotto e Baciare, Winner of the Best Restaurant in Hawaii by USA Today, the first and only Krug ambassador, truffle centric French/Italian/Japanese fusion fine dining.
Chef Kenta Kayama has been trained under the best chefs in Japan, Mr.Kanda who keeps 3 stars Michelin for the whole time Michelin has been published in Japan.
We opened our door in Tokyo in 2014 and became known as the best place for truffle and old world wine. We serve fresh seasonal truffles from all over the world throughout the year, Italian Alba white truffle to French Perigord black truffle, Tasmanian black etc.
As being one of only 112 Krug ambassador chef, we have almost every bottles of Krug for you, along with many selection of old world wines. Working with Hawaii's first master sommelier Chuck Furuya, we also have premium wine pairing and monthly wine events.

    Another amazing dinner at Margotto Hawaii. Food, wine and service were exceptional. One of best meals ever with Caviar, Truffles, Foie Gras, Pastas and fine French wines. This is my favorite restaurant in Hawaii and it seems like the food just gets better and better each time I visit.

    Excellent food. My wife and I did the tasting menu. The egg shokupan was amazing. We also did 10 gm of truffle which was nice. Dessert was fun and very creative. Love the mini painted bow tie pasta souvenirs. Everyone there was super friendly. A5 wagyu was incredible.

    As we are early eaters, we generally reserve when the restaurant first opens, hence the quiet rating. But by the time we depart, the ambience is already changing! Still quiet, but definitely more engaged. We always take our guests to experience the truffle experience, and the incredibly delightful selections of salads, pastas , and 3rd course menus. My husband and I love the Burrato Salad, the freshly cut Proscutoe, the Foie Gras Cheese Rissoto (with added finely grated winter black truffle) as well as the SSU Egg Toast, and the Foie Gras Cheese Risotto. In addition, the Cacio e Pepe is my go-to Pasta, topped with the finely grated Ruffle. The Team serving us is always Magnificent!! An Ohano experience indeed…

    Aloha. Sunday family funday dinner was great. Plenty food. We added truffles, of course and a nice bottle of wine. Along with 4 drinks to start, total bill was quite reasonable for Margotta. Definitely try this Sunday dinner. Well worth the price and your time. Started with a beautiful buratta salad, next a pasta dish and lastly amazing ribs on garlic fried rice. All so yummy. Enjoy!

    My wife and I had a wonderful dining experience celebrating my birthday. We had the tasting menu and enjoyed all the dishes. The mix of French cuisine with Japanese influence matched very well. The wines on the list I thought were marked up at a reasonable level. We will make this one of our places we visit regularly.
