Margeaux Supper Parlor presents a novel way to experience dinner by telling stories through cuisine. Guests are encouraged to order a themed trio of dishes, larger than tapas and smaller than big plates, to better experience the menu and recreate the familial bonhomie we associate with supper at grandma’s (when you were urged to try a bite of everything!).
Recommended wine pairings are served in collections to mirror the entree trios.

Margeaux Supper Parlor serves New American cuisine, blending dishes inspired by the two most historic port cities in the country: New Orleans and Boston. Dinner plates include: Tomato & Bacon Jam Deviled Eggs (topped with a fried Maine oyster), Lamb Lollipops with cherry reduction, Pumpkin Ravioli, Beef Wellington, Shrimp & Boursin Grits, and Maple Bourbon Steak Tips.

Brunch is also served in themed collections and includes items such as: Quiche Lorraine, Fried Chicken & Sweet Corn Waffle, Eggs Benedict, and a Black Forrest Waffle.

Guests will taste a curated selection of both current releases and coveted library wines from A. Rafanelli Winery while enjoying thoughtfully paired dishes created by Chef Julian Alzate. This marks Shelly’s first visit to Boston since she was a teenager, making the evening all the more memorable. The Rafanelli family has been crafting wine in Sonoma County’s Dry Creek Valley since the early 1900s, with each generation upholding a tradition of excellence. Shelly now carries that torch, producing some of California’s most sought-after Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon. Join us for an intimate evening of exceptional wines, storytelling, paired dishes, and a celebration of true winemaking heritage.

The service was noteworthy for being very good, not just our waiter but the whole team was very observant about the little things. and also unobtrusive. Food was excellent. The bar on a Saturday night was busy and we were glad they accommodated our request for a table further away from the chatter.

The food was all delicious. Our server was friendly and lovely. Once we understood how the menu worked we had fun picking out our items. Both of us made up our own combos - I am a light eater so two main plates was plenty and left room for the delicious pecan pie. The wine flights are really great - well priced and lasted the whole meal (often one glass doesn't get you through.) I loved both the halibut and the pork dishes. The beef was also great. It has a Parisian bistro feel - we had a seat in the middle of the room so it was noisy for us but maybe other parts of the restaurant are less so. We will definitely return!
