   There was not much consistency with service or food quality. My husbands meal was excellent and mine was awful. Several friends actually felt quite ill after eating. While our staff was friendly he seemed run off his feet so wasn't able to give great service and forgot a few things...perhaps they were under staffed. The room itself was nice and the hotel is lovely.

   This is yet another lovely dining spots within Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley. Though arriving vrey late for our reservation, the staff was quite pleasant throughtful. it’s a great addiition to Palm Sorings📈

   Outstanding service, super friendly staff, they specifically acknowledged us as locals and thanked us for our patronage. The food was all excellent, truly a great meal and an overall amazing experience. We will definitely be back again and again !!!

   This was a business trip and the conference was being held on-site. Because we came in a day early, we decided to try the Cantala despite the reviews. That was a poor decision. It took nearly an hour for our steaks (there were four of us) to be delivered to the table and was brought out by the manager that apologized for the wait and promised that the steaks were cooked to perfection and worth the wait. Well... three of the four plates were in correct and/or missing items. One steak, that was ordered as medium was so over cooked that it could hardly be sliced and another ordered a filet but received a flat iron cut which was not eaten. That manager that made the promise never came back to the table and the unbeaten steak was cleared without question as to why it was not eaten and of course we were charged for all four steaks. The server did comp the $11 appetizer vs. the $27 uneaten steak. Would not recommend eating here. It’s worrh the Uber / Lyft to go find something different. Even if only a McDonalds.

   Cantata is quite possibly the best patio in Palm Springs. It is beautifully decorated with perfect lighting for dinner. The food and drinks are really well done and the service was great. Whenever we are in Palm Springs we make sure to go for dinner.

   Outside patio was really dirty covered in dead leaves and stains on tiles. Moved to inside which was very quiet and pleasant. Server was very inexperienced but tried hard and always had a smile. Wine was reasonably priced and served cold with an ice bucket. Salad was excellent. Main. Course fish and chips were not so good. Soggy undercooked fries. Nice batter on the fish but the fish itself was mushy- probably frozen, and little flavour. Dessert was nothing special.

   The restaurant was nice but service and food were just ok . There were items that were forgotten and I had to almost walk in the kitchen to find someone to bring out the rest of our order. I waited at our table for so long and didn’t see our waitress or another employee so I went in search of someone. Also, we had an incident with a spilled glass of water and the waitress that brought us additional napkins didn’t remove the huge pile of napkins we had used up that were in the center of the table or offer any assistance with all the wet table mats we were holding in our hands. We will not be returning.

   Honestly, this is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at and I’m 68 years old who considers herself a gourmand of sorts with discerning taste for quality food and creative presentation. My husband and I ate here twice — dinner on food Friday and then easter dinner. I ordered the braised short ribs on Good Friday and quite frankly, I’ve never had better— the meat just fell off the bone. My husband has the oven roasted pork t-bone which he said was moist and cooked to perfection. On easter, I had the Caesar salad with chicken — the dressing was amazing!! My husband decided on the pappardelle with chicken and he said it was just fabulous— almost too much to eat the portion was so large.

    The kitchen was very slow tonight. We waited an hour for a pizza. Our server was very polite and did keep us informed to the best of his abilities. Still and hour and a half for everyone to be served was excessive.
