   We booked the restaurant for convenience as we were having a mini break in the Cotswolds. The food was comparatively expensive and we live in London and are used to London prices. A T bone at £32 should have been amazing but was just Ok. £3.50 for a small jug of sauce was “ a rip off”. Overall they are pitching it at high end in the price range but the dining experience doesn’t match up to a good gastrpub! The chips and peas with my partners meal were very poor and tasted like the cheapest of cheap frozen foods. We had a similar experience at Sion Park and perhaps should have learnt our lesson there.

   We attended for my husbands 40th birthday. The staff were very welcoming and hardworking and attentive... Food was lovely and tasty. We enjoyed our evening very much and would recommend this restaurant..

   Food was awful, drinks were wrong, service bad. It is in a hotel and I told them I was not charging it to my room they handed me a bill that was charged to my room and I had to sit there for 15 minutes before anyone came over to see if I signed it - which I didnt want to do - I had to get up and go to reception to pay the bill on a credit card. We ordered extra dirty Vodka martinis and they were just straight up martinis and could not get a waitress' attention to change them. We were told due to some law that Burgers had to be cooked well done and tasted like saw dust. Vegetarian dish of artichokes was covered in a tasteless tomato sauce we couldn't eat it. No one asked how are meal was especially when they took away full dishes on our table. Avoid at all costs!

   The food is excellent. Service could be better (said olives and bread and it took three reminders to get them and on bill they put the wrong price for the wine - significantly different) Place is really ridiculous as in the hotel and in front of BP station (nice the sunset in the green BP sign)

   Real shame this place. Expectations were high for a decent steak, right? How wrong can you be? Hi, we have a table of 2 booked for 1800... "Sorry, there isn't anything in the system, but we don't open until 6 (currently 1756). I think we can find you a table if you just hold on..." (Turns to completely empty dining room, even void of staff except this pair) Needless to say it wasn't a good start. Ordering a bottle of prosecco was a lengthy process. So long in fact the starter to share was on the table before it was. Would have said the calamari was an assault on the sea at best. Main courses arrived, meagre portions, under seasoned or over-seasoned was the order of the day. The over salted potato with the under (maybe not at all_seasoned steak worked well but that delicious bite of steak was rather elusive on its own. Dessert was quite forgettable. Service really hap hazard. I've never dined in a MPW Grill before, on this showing I'd emphasise you to steer clear. On the basis it was early and mid week the food being slapped on the plate and big greasy paw prints adorning the beautiful crockery shows a lack of thought, care and attention to detail. When we left, I thanked them for "finding us a table" on the basis they might have done 20 covers that night. Quite poor all round in so many respects, so I left feeling somewhat aggrieved. I wouldn't recommend.

   Before coming to the restaurant, we had very high expectations as we know that Marco is a well respected chef who is quite famous in all parts of the world. We looked forward to the meal dearly, but our expectations weren’t met. The experience was quite poor in terms of the taste of the food and the ingredients used and it wasn’t something we expected from Marco Pierre White. The food was generally ordinary dishes that you could get in other restaurants, and not like something from a restaurant that’s owned by Michelin chef. The taste of the food was quite bland and lacked flavor, the appearance wasn’t carefully arranged like we hoped it will be. Overall, the dining experience just didn’t satisfy us enough than what we anticipated.
