   The place is beautiful and the staff was very attentive. You couldn’t beat the price for a French Quarter venue and the location is overlooking the Mississippi River. There is parking nearby.

   We had the Easter brunch buffet today and everything was fantastic! The food was fresh and delicious, the wait staff was friendly, and the ambiance was wonderful! Highly recommend!

   Atmosphere was pleasant. View was beautiful. Music was lovely. Service was nice and attentive. Food was poor, cold or room temperature, not well flavored. Salad was good. Coffee was good. Praline sauce for bread pudding was yummy. Bread pudding was cold. This is New Orleans, do better. I cook better than that at my house.

   It was very expensive for what you got. The staff was nice, but the food was not the quality I was expecting for the price we were paying. I would not recommend it and I would not go again. Also all they had was small plates, so you had to keep getting up to get your food on the small plates. Not a wonderful experience for Easter dinner.

   I was a single diner with a reservation. The couple that arrived AFTER ME asked if their reservation could be moved up (it was originally 30 minutes AFTER mine). The Hostess then seated them in the Solarium and I was left waiting another 20 minutes. My table ended up being next to a food service station. I would have enjoyed setting in the solarium myself but apparently, being alone and having a reservation doesn't mean anything if a larger party arrives. After the hostess called me Mr. Williams the first time, I corrected her. The next 2 times I just gave up. The food was mediocre at best. I love prime rib but couldn't eat theirs. It's buffet style but a server plates everything for you on a dessert plate so you get your exercise if you want a meal (an order of shrimp and grits gets you 3, inch-long shrimp). When my server arrived with the check, she informed me "Take your time, there's no rush". About 30 seconds later she tried to collect the check, which I had not completed. When I was finished, I completed the check, and then, she was nowhere to be found. After 5 minutes, I readjusted the bill so I didn't have to wait, and left. Never to return again.

   We thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas Day lunch. The food, and service was impeccable. It is so great that we found such a lovely venue to celebrate the special holidays.

    Very good food and service but way over-priced for a buffet where you serve yourself. A very good view of the river.
