   Great food, excellent service and super nice place. Even delayed for almost 2 hours because of a traffic congestion (2 hours in an Uber for a 10’ route because of an event, maybe marathon not sure) they gave us a wonderful table and we enjoyed a really excellent experience!

   I recently dined at Marabu and, unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. The food was bland and unremarkable; I've had better meals at cheaper restaurants. The service was slow and purely transactional, lacking any warmth or personal touch. It felt somewhat mechanical and matter-of-fact. Four people ate here and not one said the food was good. Each had a drink, ordered 2 appetizers for the table (and the yuca fries and the plantains were the best part of the whole meal), and 1 main course per. We spent $300 since they add a mandatory 18% gratuity to the bill. Overall, I can't understand the buzz around this place. It seems like just another regular mall restaurant. I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a memorable dining experience.

   My wife & I took our 7 year old and were excited to try this place, but found it disappointing. An adjacent table seated at the same time as us completed their meals and left before we were served; another next to ours was seated well after us and left just as we received our food. By the time our son got his tiny burgers (costing $14) at nearly 9.30pm, he was so exhausted he fell asleep in the booth after barely eating. The steak was good, but overall the food was not worth the $200+ it cost - and the restaurant did nothing to make things right. The 18% compulsory service charge was especially inappropriate given their acknowledgement that we had waited too long for our food.

   Our dinner at Marabu was spectacular in every aspect. From our pleasant welcome at the front desk and immediate seating, to our impeccable waitperson Marcia, to the sublime food, everything was top-notch. After a disappointing dinner the previous night at another well-regarded restaurant, Marabu was a welcome delight. Everything about the food was exactly right -- and I'm a private chef, so I can be, shall we say, a little particular, lol. Presentation was picture-perfect, portions were the perfect size bordering on generous, and the execution was masterful. Of special note was the octopus, a dish often difficult to execute well -- it was tender and tasty, infused with the subtle essence of the charcoal ovens, and expertly paired with charred eggplant. And the service provided by Marcia elevated the evening even further -- she was engaging, well-informed, professional and yet warm, and offered everything that restaurant service should be at its best. Don't miss this perfect dining experience!

   The food was great. The music was too loud for us to carry on a conversation and there was no escaping it. I probably would not go back for that reason.

   This place is usually one of my favorites however, this time we came on a Sunday evening and unfortunately, I had to ask the server to warm up the food. Will definitely return however I do expect warm fresh food, whether on the first meal of the day or the last. Drinks are always good and the ambiance as well.

   Excellent. I've dined here on multiple occasions, and the food never disappoints. Service can go from good to excellent as well. Food is always flavorful and beautifully presented.

    Excellent food and service. A bit on the pricey side and the unmentioned 18% gratuity for a party of four was a surprise but that just meant I didn't have to calculate a tip myself. I would definitely return here to eat again the next time I'm in Miami.
