   Reliably exemplary service and superlative food at Manny’s. I love this restaurant so much I will forego 3 visits to a mediocre restaurant to visit this restaurant once every 4-6 weeks. Where else can you order fresh oysters on a Monday in Minnesota and have them taste better than the coast? Manny’s! The service is always perfectly attentive while appropriately restrained. The pours are strong and well balanced. The food is really expertly prepared and presented. I ordered steak done blue (knowing it is always a bit a of crapshoot) and It Was Perfect. And the atmosphere and seating is always so comfortable, never fussy. Damn I love this restaurant.

   Hands down the best steak and lobster I have had in years. Dan was amazing and attentive. Celebrating my son's birthday in the city and this was by far the highlight and top experience

   I have been to Manny's for dinner a number of times and been very happy with the food, service, and overall experience. I recently attended the Easter holiday buffet and was very disappointed. Food was not the right temperature or of the quality I expect from Manny's and quite frankly, it was such a turnoff that I doubt I will ever return for a regular dinner. Mimosas did not included fresh squeezed orange juice as advertised, prime rib was gristly and impossible to cut, oysters did not have any accompaniments such as mignonette, horseradish dressing, or hot sauce, fruit selection included many pieces of the center core of the pineapple, scrambled eggs were cold, French toast was out and when staff was asked for more, more was brought out but it was soggy. Some of the desserts ran out - lemon bars, blueberry cake- and were not replenished so we never got to try them. I believe if you take reservations at 1:30, you should replenish the buffet until at least an hour after that, and this was not the case. Many items ran out at around 2 pm and were not replenished. We were very dissatisfied with the whole experience.

   Well folks, Manny's has succumbed to mediocrity like so many other downtown restaurants. Awful...simply awful! $60 per person Easter brunch, table for 4 at 12:30 p.m. got stuck in a booth having asked for a table, were steered to a dark adjacent hallway outside the restaurant for slim pickings on both poorly curated and unattended cold and hot lines. The buffets are no longer served in the restaurant like in the pictures from years ago, so they can squeeze in more tables and lower the quality. Returned twice to try and find carved Prime Rib as advertised...dry ham but no prime rib. Nasty salmon dish...also cold, cold sauteed vegetables...mostly onions, no lobster in the lobster scramble, nothing kept hot and refreshed. To add to an already poor experience I found filthy dessert plate under the one I took and decided instead to use a napkin to take a church basement bar that was all they offered for dessert. Must have been running short as even these were cut in half. I made this reservation in early February bragging to my guests how they would enjoy the experience, but this is not the old Manny's. $60 for a single half filled plate of less than mediocre food isn't right. This kitchen didn't give a damn what they were dishing up, and it showed. The only decent thing about this experience was our waitperson Jody. There are other choices even in a depleted and diminished downtown Minneapolis, and Manny's should stop doing brunch like a Ramada and stick to steak and Martini's. Don't think I'd want a peek into that kitchen though given the lack of respect they show both food and customer...yuck. Sad. Just sad!

   Went for Easter Brunch. It was not at all what we were expecting from Manny’s. The food was terrible. Bland hasbrowns, nasty scrambled eggs, no salad selection. The menu said cold salads they had pasta salad and tomatoes and cheese no Lettus at all. The fruit was melon and a few raspberries. No bread offering except dry bagels. The pastries looked like they picked them up from Sam’s club. The desserts were no even edible. They had 3 bar cookie choices. No coffee offered. It was a not something you’d expect when you go to Manny’s. We won’t be back. I’m now questioning if the whole place has gone downhill. I almost forgot to mention the ladies room had several stall out of toilet paper and soap! No soap! At a restaurant l. We were seated at 11:15 so it was not like they had been open for hours either. Pick another place to dine.

   Pretty basic brunch but everything was delicious. Good value for category of restaurant. Excellent service and craft cocktails. Warm and inviting atmosphere.

   Though a bit expensive, the meal was well worth it! The Deep Fried Shrimp and the Lamb Chops were scrumptious! The large portion of NY Cheesecake was a plus! I'd gladly return to Manny's on my next visit to the Twin Cities!

   Manny’s has consistently delivered decent food, great drinks, and generally good service. However, we’ve observed a noticeable decline in the overall value for money, largely due to the exceptionally high food costs.
