   Great food, good food selection, nice relaxed and funky vibe. Food was very tasty.

   Bad Planning! Who runs out of Easter Lamb before 2pm on Easter Sunday?? Mama Shelter, that's who! 3 of a table of 4 disappointed we didn't get roast lamb on Easter Sunday, solely due to poor planning. To be fair to the restaurant, they apologised and gave us lots of food, a 2-for-1 price on the last of the Beef Wellington and free cauliflower cheese - but we would have planned to go elsewhere, had we even thought there was a slight chance of not getting the roast lamb we all hoped for.

   The whole vibe at Mama Shelter is fab. Visited today for Mothers Day and had 3x scrummy Sunday roasts. We also remembered our wonderful server Artur who served us for Mothers Day last year and who was even more wonderful than we remembered! Highly recommend MS and see you again next year! 🙌🏻🙌🏻

   Was lovely, servers were very nice people - although clearly very busy! Food was beautiful and very big portions as well. Wouldn’t recommend if you have parties hard of hearing but fantastic ambience otherwise. Will be coming back.

   The place itself was good - ambiance, decoration the vibe was great! The food & service was disappointing. It was the server’s first day so we can’t really fault her for that but it took her forever to bring some things we asked for I,e water, food, bill. She forgot about our steak knife too and only remembered when the food was mostly eaten already. The food was the most disappointing part. The starter was too grilled, it was so charred, you could only taste the burnt bits. The focaccia was stodgy and lacked salt. For mains we ordered, honey chicken, steak, chips, Caesar salad and fish and chips. I asked medium rare for the steak but it was cooked to medium, meat was tough. The honey chicken were lukewarm and stodgy like the focaccia - not crispy at all! And the fries were served lukewarm and not crispy as well. We wouldn’t go back there again for food but perhaps for drinks instead as like I mentioned above the place looked cool just the food and service wasn’t great.

   Amazing and friendly atmosphere, the staff is very professional and well trained, very hospitable and attentive. I been there for a work meeting and we had lunch to, everything was spot on, we where in the secret garden for a bit more privacy; was nice and quiet. I will for sure go back soon.    Overall a good experience but not amazing. The humous starter was small (only 4 small pieces of bread) but the flavours were good. I had the Indian spiced roast squash for mains which was a very small portion for the price, but again the flavours were good and it was presented nicely. I was warned by our waitress this dish was spicy which it was not at all. The cookie dough was delicious. Our service was very slow considering the restaurant wasn’t that busy but it had a nice vibe.

    The bottomless brunch food options are very limiting (three options). Eventually they agreed to let us pay the difference of picking a main outside of the "Classics". The venue was very strict on the 90 minutes of drinks (it starts from your reservation not when everyone arrives). The saving grace for the venue was that the burger and truffle fries were yummy and they had a great variety of drinks available for bottomless brunch.
