I enjoyed a fabulous meal at Mallard! The Southern-inspired menu is filled with delicious offerings ranging from the start of the meal all the way though to dessert. The ambulance is relaxed and service is attentive and professional. The restaurant also has a wide array of Bourbons and Ryes by the bottle and glass and is worth a visit on its own! I can't wait to go back!

Highly recommend gem lettuce salad, foie gras shortcake, pekin duck, and swordfish schnitzel. Everything was perfectly cooked, unique, flavorful! Charming attentive server, good cocktails. My friend and I love this place.

Order the fried oysters. Order everything you want, but you should want the fried oysters. What an amazing menu that covers a range of smaller bites to larger entrees. Two of us split a handful of appetizers (crab squash blossom, crab tartine, and we ordered the fried oysters twice they are that good) and one entree (steak), which was enough for two people planning on leaving room for dessert. You should leave room for dessert. Had the Banana Puddin'. Drink menu was also a hit.

Wonderful menu. Really delicious unique creations. Loved the crab tartine to start and the burger was outstanding. My husband said his steak was the best he's ever had. Unique decor and warm cozy environment. Creative cocktails too. Highly recommend.

The southern-style cuisine was fantastic, as was the service - everything we ordered at our table of 6 was excellent. Especially loved the griddled asparagus and the cornmeal-crusted soft-shell crab. But the noise levels (85-90dbls) were excessive - could not carry on a conversation without difficulty.

My girlfriend and I just had the best experience here. Immediately the ambiance took our breath away, setting a positive tone. The cocktails were very well crafted, and the three appetizers we began with were WOW-level delicious... start with the fried oysters and foie gras, follow that with the Pekin duck and steak, you will have a spectacular experience. Will absolutely be back to try the rest of the menu, 100%
