In case you haven’t heard, Makoto has moved to an awesome new space on the 3rd floor. Re-envisioned by Paris-based designer India Mahdavi, it’s a bold new look which will take your dining experience to a whole new level. Bright colors and cozy banquettes. More outdoor dining. Makoto Okuwa ushers Japanese cuisine into the 21st century at his eponymous eatery, located on the 3rd floor of the luxurious Bal Harbour Shops.     Another WOW lunch at Makoto, which has been our favorite Japanese restaurant in South Florida for years. We love the decor of the new location on the 3rd floor, and especially enjoy dining on the patio here. Today was another 10/10 dining experience on all levels: food, ambiance and service (our waiter, Javars today was actually a 20/10, an absolute gem, super-professional, with exceptional attention to detail, and a great personality to match).

    La comida excelente como el servicio lo que no me parece siempre que se pide sentar afuera las hostess Se niegan y quieren dejar esperar 30 a 40 minutos aunque tenemos reservación y una mayor parte de las mesas afuera están vacías
