Maize is a New American BYOB located in Perkasie’s business district in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

Currently we are offering a 3-course tasting menu that changes daily based on what is seasonally available. We have two seatings: 5:30 and 7:30.

Everything is made in-house from scratch, using the best local produce, Pennsylvania raised meats and wild fish and shellfish from the North Atlantic.

We welcome you to Maize with a bowl of freshly popped popcorn with extra virgin olive oil, fresh parsley and chives, salt and pepper. Shortly after you will receive our biscuits with local honey and butter. We will then move onto a tasting menu that comprises some of your favorites of the past decade, as well as some soon to be favorites. And as always, we will finish dinner with our warm chocolate chip cookies.

Bring a couple of your favorite bottles of wine, relax with your guest(s), and allow us to take care of you.

It’s always a pleasure to dine at Maize - although much depends on who is there at the same time-because it is so small. This week, the choice was short ribs or red snapper, both beautifully prepared but expensive at $85 Prix Fixe for a three course meal. Perfect for a special occasion.

My second time coming here for my birthday. Food is phenomenal and the service is excellent. It is very loud due to no linens on the tables so be prepared. They all signed a birthday card for me which is a sweet surprise. Can’t say enough how amazing the experience is..

We are still talking about this amazing dining experience. Black Bass caught THAT DAY! Everything was just superb. Our server Liam was incredibly helpful and lovely. The food is like the highest form of culinary art. The attention to detail (biscuit home made of course comes with fresh butter and honey). This is warm and wonderful food prepared with the utmost care. Bravo.

Have to admit, the not knowing what the menu was ahead of time caused some apprehension. But each dish was amazing. We got the 5 course tasting. The dishes were elegantly plated with and such care. We had a lobster dish first. Then cod dish. I can’t remember the accompaniments but they fit and were delicious. The meat dish was a veal osso bucco served with the marrow filled bone. The only thing I didn’t care for was the palate cleanser which was a raspberry sorbet and pear with red wine poured over it. I do not like wine at all, so I could have done with just the sorbet which was very good but couldn’t taste it because the taste was covered up with wine. The dessert was a beet cake with chocolate sauce, vanilla ice cream. Don’t care for beets, so I really could have passed on that. But that’s not a diss. I just hate beets. A piece of chocolate cake would have been better. Overall we were very impressed and will definitely go back next season to see what is next! Highly recommend!

Fantastic food. Fantastic service. They will accomodate you if necessary. I do not like seafood (except for scallops), so they gave me a choice of scallops or another meat course. I choose scallops and they were amazing! We left stuffed. due to price we only go once a year (on a very tight budget), but worth it every time.
