   My basil soup and goat cheese and arugula salad were delicious! I ordered a mule, though and had to send it back. It tasted like pure lime juice. Couldn't taste the vodka or the ginger beer. Yuck! My cranberry mimosa was quite good.

   Everything we ate was exceptionally delicious; escargot, salad, sea bass, duck, scallops, etc. we love this place.

   A customer for years a favorite place for mussels!!! A friend from out of town came in she had never been here so I knew the pastries and dinner and drinks are amazing so we ventured out. Tonight was NOT a good experience first off our server had no personality and was rude to my friend. The mussels only half opened so for $28 I had the server go back in the kitchen and cook them some more absolutely the best wine sauce! Now the kicker was the martini I ordered a filthy martini with blue cheese olives never in my life have I been charged separate for everything while ordering this drink anywhere $11.00 Tito’s, $3.00 martini, $2.00 olives…….what the????!?!?!? Big turn off just charge one flat price doesn’t make a good impression to the customer, makes you feel nickel and dimed! Will I go back, yes….request a different server if she’s there yes!

   This is my second lunch here in the last year. Frankly, the food is a little disappointing and omelette came out sort of cold and sort of overcooked. I believe my friend was OK. Server was excellent. The food quality seems down for what it was several years ago.

   We have been fortunate in our lives to travel to many places and, therefore, have some pretty wonderful cuisine. But I can honestly say that this breakfast/brunch, close to home, was one of THE very best ever! I don't find it on the online menu, but the savory crepe that we had with ham and various cheeses would measure up in any French or brunch specialty restaurant anywhere. And the Normandy French Toast with berries and cream cheese mousse was absolutely wonderful, as well. Our server, Brandon, was very attentive, and acknowledged my wife's birthday in a very nice way! Simply superb...and the fact that this place is a part of the VERY popular downtown/Main Street Grapevine, with all of the shops and great places to stroll and enjoy the time outside made for an almost perfect birthday brunch outing.    Great, quality food. Calamari was way more food than expected and better quality. Scallops and mushroom ravioli were fantastic. And the beignets were amazing.

    I haven't visited Chez Fabien in a long while and sadly it will be a long while before I return. The food was very ordinary and on the expensive side for it not to be really tasty. The Brie starter was a messy puddle of barely recognizable Brie. The turkey panini was a disappointment with a thin but of meat, slice of tomato on bland bread. The French dip meat had so much fatty parts it had to be taken out of the bread to be eaten. Lots of gristly bits.
