   Mahogany River Terrace was absolutely great to my friends and I. We traveled to Memphis for a girl’s weekend getaway and brunch was a must and boy oh boy did we choose the right place. Not only was the ambience great but the food was amazing and our waitress Tiara was the absolute best. She was extremely attentive, friendly and patient with us as we navigated the menu. She was AMAZING! We will definitely be back. Awesome experience!

   Service was slow and the food was marginal. I ordered blackened shrimp, but it arrived without any seasoning. Small ask. The presentation was weak. Service was just okay once she made it to the table.

   They need to work on customer service. They were nice, but they barely checked on us. It took too long to get our food and some of my family members orders were wrong. Some of the chicken that was ordered came out luck warm. Food tasted over all good tho.

   Stopped in for Sunday brunch. Very busy, live band, great atmosphere. Shrimp and grits were delicious. The front of house staff were great. The first waiter didn’t take my order but eventually a waitress did; however she forgot to put in half my order. She was very quick to get that second half to me when I mentioned it. Wasn’t bothered much by that due to enjoying the lovely views of the river! All in all, I’d happily go back.

   It took a long time for the food, my Vegan Omelette was not hot, it was barely warm. Some the waffles were brown, while others were white. Some of the chicken wasn’t quite done all the way through. ALWAYS HAVE DECAF COFFEE AVAILABLE TO SERVE!!! The servers shouldn’t have to look all over the restaurant for tea bags, and you might want to consider having hot water accompanied when serving tea. Cute Pyramid Tea Bags BTW😊 The servers was very nice and pleasant. You must work on consistency with the food! Note to the Chef: Corn/Stone grits must be cooked thoroughly before adding any cream to it. BRING THE WATER TO A BOIL AND ADD THE GRITS TO THE BOILING WATER, WHISK THE GRITS THROUGHOUT THE COOKING PROCESS WHILE ADDING THE SEASONINGS, AND YOU CAN OPT FOR OLIVE OIL FOR CREAMINESS INSTEAD OF CREAM. Still the grits must be thoroughly cooked before adding cream or milk of any kind. This gives it a great taste as well as consistency. This way it want taste corny and stiff.
