   We met friends here for dinner and everything was very good except for the Sushi roll which was soggy. We were very hungry so we did not send it back. We all had entrees seared ahi, mahi, and 2 nightly specials and all the fish was cooked to perfection.

   The good, I have eaten at Mahe many times and the food and drink is very good. The bar entertainment was excellent. The bad, the wait between the reservation time and seating was excessively long without updates from the hostess. The ugly, The bar was crowded and likely over capacity and the restaurant is loud.

   Cheese potatoes were the highlight. We sent the blackened swordfish back because it was over sesoned and got a dried out piece of salmon as a replacement with a weird wasabi teriyaki sause that was also overseaoned. Spinach salad was fine. Desert was unremarkable.

   Amazing as usual, sushi, rolls, NZ Seabass, wine. Perfect night, I have eaten here a dozen times and never been disappointed.

   As usual, Mahe's food and service was impeccable. Mahe spoils its patrons in comparison to any other sushi restaurant in the area. Superior freshness and attention to details are Mahe's trademarks.

   Mahler used to be an outstanding place to go. Over the last few years they have cutback on their dinner offerings ( no warm bread or salad with dinner entree - all extra now) and their veggies with dinnersnow only includes one veggie. For htfirst time our food was cold, the sowed fish was dry and the service no so good. What once was a grat, unmatched placed is now just another resutrants.

   Mahe doesn't get enough attention as a top restaurant in Orange County. The food (steaks, sushi and fish) is consistently excellent and the service is great while lacking in unnecessary pretension. When it is just my wife and I, we sit at the sushi bar and let the expert sushi chefs make us cool off-menu dishes. And this weekend we went in with a big party for a celebration and had an awesome time in the dining room. Make sure to have a drink in the bar after dinner and check out the live music.

    Love this place. food is consistently delicious. everyone in my party ordered seafood and I got the chicken. Everyone including me LOVED our meal.
