excellent atmosphere, delicious food, huge portions, and great service! classy, but not snobby. had a singer who sang old standards, which was a nice touch. cant wait to go during Christmas when they decorate. dress code, but didn't seem to be restrictive. best of all...it looks exactly like it probably did when it opened in 1955! even has historical landmark status.

Tucked away in a lovely nook of the city, the Magic Lamp Inn promises a charming dining experience that is both warm and inviting. As soon as you walk through the doors, the cozy ambiance and enchanting decor create the perfect setting for a truly memorable meal. The restaurant's interior is adorned with playful details that transport you into a fairy tale. Gentle lighting, vibrant hues, and one-of-a-kind artwork all come together to establish a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're out for a romantic evening or a family gathering, the vibe is just right for any occasion. The team at Magic Lamp Inn is attentive and amiable, ensuring that your dining experience is seamless from beginning to end. Host Anna was well-versed in the menu and provided excellent suggestions, which we found to be quite helpful. She was also incredibly kind and shared some fascinating background stories about the restaurant, making her the best host we've encountered so far. The menu boasts a wide array of dishes, blending traditional flavors with contemporary twists. I decided on the New York steak for my main course, and it was cooked to perfection, flaky and seasoned just right, complemented by fresh seasonal veggies. The entertainment was totally unforgettable! The singer showed off amazing talent and had an awesome voice. Plus, Andy's magic show was really cool and entertaining. He was so good that he made us believe every trick he did. The prices at Magic Lamp Inn are fair considering the quality of the food and service you receive. While it may not be the most budget-friendly choice in town, the overall experience and delicious flavors make it well worth it.

This was a wonderful evening. Live entertainment and balloons in the table for birthday. Alfonso was amazing waiter. He anticipated everything and made dinner seamless. Magician came and did magic. Butcher board was amazing. Prime rib excellent. The mash potatoes were wonderful 😊 staff polite and helpful.

The redo of the Magic Lamp is very impressive! I love the vibe. Cocktails and wine list were great. Menu itself had lots of nice choices but our meals were only fine and really not very very flavorful so I couldn’t recommend them: caesar salad, lobster mac and cheese, and Chilean sea bass. The desserts however were amazing! At this point, I wouldn’t go back for dinner but I would go back for drinks or dessert while watching the performers or sitting by the fire.

Fantastic ambiance! The singer was top-notch—like Dean Martin, Jerry Lewis, and Frank Sinatra all rolled into one. The food menu has changed a bit since my last visit, but it still offers excellent choices and everything was delicious.

The food was OK. I had the Chilean Sea Bass and it was good. My fiancé had the prime rib and it was horrible. It was tough and super fatty. We brought most of it home and fed it to my dog, he liked it. $78 is a lot to pay for dog food. Generally, it was somewhat overpriced and our meal was not really up to par for the price.
