   We were really looked after by Gráinne and her team. The food was delicious from start to finish and the setting/ambience was very well suited to the food. Special shout out to Dani, the sous chef, who greeted us when we arrived from the open kitchen and delivered the first set of snacks.

   Lovely intimate restaurant Staff were so professional and helpful The tasting menu had a perfect number of courses , not too many and not overly rich All courses were excellent, very well presented and great flavour Loved the tarte tatin Can’t wait to go back It was delicious

   Food, wine and service very good. I was very disappointed the toilets were in a poor state. We were seated downstairs , which essential was an off license with garden tables set up.

   My husband and I had a very special dining experience at Mae recently. The food was delicious and the wines complimented the dishes beautifully.

   The food was not enjoyable to either of us and given we spent 217.00, we were expecting it to be wonderful. The steak was predominantly fatty and inedible. The only thing we enjoyed was the glass of wine.

    We got a late booking on a very busy day in the area. We were very grateful that we did. Service was attentive and excellent. Food was also excellent. This was my second time visiting mae and the standards are still extremely high. The wine cellar is a lovely setting for a meal.
