   New menu is interesting and has some good options. Food was generally good, but cooking to order was very precise e.g., medium rare came out as rare, dirty martini with ice came out first with no olives, than no ice. Still a good option for a large group.

   Server was snarky (for example, when he greeted our table when my guests arrived, he said "How are you?" and everyone said "Fine. Good, thanks" and he said, "I'm fine thank you."). He took a while to get back to us in between courses. Had to wait too long in between dinner (sitting there for 10 mins with empty plates on our tables) and ordering dessert and then sat again waiting for our check. As there were only a handful of parties in the restaurant, with more than one server, not sure why it took so long. To be fair, he did know the menu when we asked about specific items. Overall, very average for the price.

   Although I live 350 miles away, Madeline's is one of my favorite restaurants. I was thrilled to introduce out of town friends to this new to them spot - and they also enjoyed it. Our server knew the menu and specials, even though it was early in the evening. While I just had wine this visit, the cocktails are fun and tasty.

   One meal was good. One meal was a lamb dish and it was delivered vegetarian??? One meal was steak...steak was good, but vegetables were cold and burned black. No discount was offered. I would never go back.

   We have been to Madeline's before and had good food and service. The food was good but not great on our last visit. The apps were good but my Shepard's Pie was weak at best. It had very little meat and the mash potatoes were almost runny. It was topped with little carrots and that was it. Shepard's pie is a poor man's pub food and that's what I got but it cost $26.00!!!. The over all experience was good but we put Madeline's on the do not eat there again list.

   Madeline's is fine dining at an affordable price. The service is very good and the desserts are absolutely amazing! Eating outside on the commons is a special treat as well for summer days.
