   Disappointing. Sandwiches were served on stale bread, they were cold and had obviously been prepared earlier and sat in a fridge for some time. For the price I would have at least expected freshly made food

   It was very cold and sat at a table where cold air was blowing on me when we asked to move staff were helpful and moved us but it was still cold and I had to sit with my coat on whole time

   it was a beautiful place. The food was excellent but expensive for knowing what I was getting it was worth it, especially for New Year's Eve.

   Excellent afternoon tea. From the presentation of the table setting to the food -it was a fantastic experience! They offer delightful menus for both vegetarian and gluten free diners!

   Good good. Possibly needed more savoury. Too much sweet cakes. But altogether a great experience!

   Absolutely awful and not worth the price at all! This was an expensive experience and they sit you on a cold patio with heaters that do nothing and our waiter told us we could continue to ask for more sandwiches and tea and he dropped our food off and never was seen again?? The food was mostly inedible and tasted old. I had to flag someone down to even get the bill and the manager gave us a measly 10% off as if that does anything. Still never told us where our waiter even went. Don't waste your money!!!

   I was really disappointed with the mad hatter’s afternoon tea. Having been to several other afternoon teas this was really disappointing. The venue was not great and we were outside in a marque in December which wasn’t a great start. They did provide heaters and blankets but I wasn’t dressed for outdoors at four o clock dinning in December. There were lots of families and groups there which seemed to put a strain on the staff team who were slow to serve us however when they did they were polite and courteous and helpful with the tea menu which was potentially the high light. The crockery was creative tea party, but the food was really disappointing, too many flavours for me mixed together in the savoury dishes made them quite unpleasant, the mini pastries weren’t great , the scones were lovely arrived warm and very tasty and the Alice in wonderland candy floss cup and bubble tea potion were very quirky and fun. However it was not worth the money and I couldn’t recommend it for others.

   I don’t understand why it’s held outside when it’s so cold thinking the overhead heaters will be sufficient and so much space inside!! We started off okay, it was cold but after a while the cold hit us and ruined the experience - very disappointing! I thought the food was okay, nothing amazing to be honest - I’ve had better! When asked if we’d like more sandwiches, 1 additional sandwich was provided! Overrated, especially this time of year… ruined the experience

    We had the most wonderful time. Our server was incredibly nice and helpful. The food was delicious and abundant. We couldn’t even finish everything, but I will be dreaming about that pastries for a long time!
