   The restaurant is a nice place for friends to gather for a casual meal with very interesting food. It has many options for sharing plates of food. But the soup that I ordered was too good to be shared - it was all mine.

   Pisco sours were nice. Serving staff was overwhelmed and they were not even full. They did try, but came up short. Food. Causa was tasty Mussels not even close to what they are supposed to be. No flavor or seasoning Anticuchos - minimal and cooked almost to a crisp Main courses. They green pasta was well done and tasty. Bistec dry The rest of the meals were cooked ok, but that’s the best I can say. The seasoning and blending of the flavors Peruvian food is known for was not there. Food was bland, cooking uninspired and mixed not blended or cooked right. Not going back when there is a superb Peruvian Restaurant in North County.

   They were on a limited menu — understandable for Comic-Con —and I just wanted something simple, like a club sandwich. Our appetizer came after the entrees, and I have never been served a worse club sandwich in all my life. The bread was soggy and lifeless, and there was easily more tomato than turkey. Additionally, the service was slow. What should have taken 45 minutes top took twice that long. The delays were not with the food delivery, but with the service. A full 10 mini before we were offered water, and another 15 minutes after we’d completed our meal before the waiter provided our check.

   We were in the Gaslamp for the Paul McCartney concert at Petco Park. We did a last-minute reservation at Machu Picchu. Though it was obvious that they were overwhelmed by the early crowd due to the concert, they provided good service and got us out in-time for the concert. The food was excellent (try the beef stew!). And the total price was great especially considering we had 7 of us at the last minute. We will definitely go back, though perhaps not on a concert night or when we're tight on time.

   We had a reservation for 8, and were seated immediately when we arrived—great! The waiter was helpful, but seemed quite frazzled. I understand that we were there the night of a huge concert at Petco, so you’d think they would have staffed appropriately. We waited for a long time for our food. The food was ok, not spectacular, but good. The ceviche was great, other dishes so-so. The waiter said they ran out of plates (!!!!), so that was kind of awkward. We asked for our check, and waited around 20 minutes for it to arrive. So, overall, service was very slow, food was ok, but the prices were good, so I might give it another try in the future.

   It's a cool place but the food is just ok. The ceviche was gamey and the empanada crust tasted like it had been frozen for some time. The fried yucca was good (but then you can't go wrong with anything fried).

   Food was very good but the wait and delivery were sub-par. Restaurant was not particularly busy but it took way too long for our food to show up - so long that the server lost track of who ordered what.

   Good food & drink from Peru when you finally get it. Dined with a group of four people. Ordered drinks and appetizers then dinner. Appetizers came but not drinks. Then drinks came with two dinners came but the other two dinners cam 10-15monutes later. No reasons or apologies given. Never have had such poor service.

   We went to celebrate birthday and we're about 14-16 plp. Had real bad experience, food was served for all but, they forgot 3 of our plates and had to wait 30 mins extra¡ One of us got served plate and owner came to took it away and gave it to another table that came after us¡? We requested our bill separately and they could not figure it out not until we wrote it down for them on a pcolina of paper so, it took over an hour just to cut our checks. Food is not that good tasting and waiter was not around we have to go look for him every time.
