About this restaurant

We are one of Melbourne's hidden laneway bars. Nestled in a heritage building off Flinders Lane most of our guests congregate around our first floor balcony and watch the world go by below them. A perfect location for a pre or post dinner drink, we have an extensive range of craft beers, wines, spirits and cocktails. We spark up the ambiance with live music on Thursday through Sunday evenings. If great drinks in a luxe but unpretentious surrounding is what you are after, then Lustre is your bar.

Looking online for a dessert and cocktail bar and this popped up. Honestly it was like going to moes tavern off the simpsons minus the pickled eggs on the counter. The balcony allowed smoking which just came straight back into the bar. Ordered the ice cream cocktail cones, pretty sure they forgot some of the alcohol and the “waffle cones” were Woolies stubbie cones. Which made the biggest mess of life all over the table as they weren’t sealed properly to hold liquid. It was a horrible waste of time and money. Don’t bother.

Lustre is a really cute bar, it was great to have booked so we could sit in the comfy couches. Fantastic columbian singer/ guitarist played while we were there. A few more food options would improve things - the snack menu very basic. Only down side was breathing the smoke from people on the open balcony. I'm not sure why that was allowed

They didn’t have a record of out table being booked and made no effort to accomodate us so we went elsewhere

Hi 'Anonymous' thanks for your feedback. We are new to OpenTable and are still working through a seamless end to end booking experience. We did have a couple of bookings on the 4th of May but one of them was cancelled by the guest, that may have been why we had no record of it. Please accept our apologies that the experience was not what you had expected.
