Luke is a Creole-inspired Brasserie located in the heart of New Orleans’ Central Business District on world-famous St. Charles Avenue, steps from the French Quarter neighborhood. A lively atmosphere surrounds the raw bar offering the freshest seafood and oysters procured daily from the Gulf of Mexico. Chef Erick Loos is at the helm of the kitchen featuring dishes that highlight local purveyors and farmers’ market ingredients.     Spectacular- from the mouth watering food to the service!!! An amazing experience!!! Please don’t sleep on this restaurant. Luke is a place I would eat at over and over and not get bored. Highly recommended!

    Food was excellent, especially the pate, Brussels sprouts and pompano. Atmosphere was lively and fun. Our 4top table was a little small but manageable. Will definitely be back.

    We had an excellent meal on Easter Sunday at Luke's, which is easily walkable from the central business district or the edges of the French Quarter and Bourbon Street. I had seen recommendations for the pork schnitzel - it was one of the best I have ever eaten, and yes, absolutely huge, covering the entire plate. For Easter the chef had concocted a version of Beef Wellington, using lamb - I was hesitant to try it but my husband ordered it and it was incredibly delicious! Out of the 4 days we were in New Orleans this was the best meal we had. Luke's is small, tables are fairly close together so it can be a little on the noisier side, but it was well worth that for the excellent food! Service was great too.

    We visit here often. It is constantly a great meal. Service is always personable. On this visit, I had the Green Tomato Benedict. It was fabulous.
