   The food is quite tasty and it's nice to see a chef go the extra mile by making jams for the biscuits. I ordered dinner for later while eating brunch; and plan to return.

   I love this place , it is my favorite southern brunch spot and they never seem to fail. I love the biscuits and gravy and the French toast but honestly I can eat anything off the menu and I’ll never be disappointed.

   This was my first time at Luella’s southern kitchen and I must say I was very impressed with the food. Everyone at my table enjoyed their food which is a plus. The only reason I’m knocking it down is b/c the server wasn’t attentive at all when it came to refills, bringing napkins, straws etc to our table b/c as it got more crowded our table got lost in the sauce. Also the wait times for food were ridiculously long. I enjoyed the salmon croquettes and the biscuits though a bit too salty were awesome. My guests complained about the Nashville hot chicken, my friend didn’t finish hers b/c the sauce was weird tasting and I heard a guest across from us complained that the Nashville hot chicken he ordered was “nasty” so they might want to adjust. Their regular feud chicken however was really good an my guests at my table really enjoyed it. Overall I’d give it 3 stars and wouldn’t recommend reservations b/c it made no difference in the wait time or service to our table. Lastly there was an Apple festival the day I went there and they should’ve informed their guests on their website b/c you had to walk through the entrance where they suggested a donation before getting to the restaurant which was annoying. But overall I’d visit here again just wish the service/waiters were more attentive.

   Luella’s had a very homey feel. I appreciated our party’s ability to order from our table’s QR code. Food was delicious and served at the perfect temperature. Waiter did an adequate job checking in on us periodically.

   Outstanding, I had two native Nashville folks with me and they raved about Darnell’s cooking. It was a great experience on all fronts

   Great food. The shrimp & grits are a must! I’m looking forward to a future visit. I would suggest the staff ensure guests are made aware of the ordering process upon arrival.

   This place is awesome; if you want a good southern style home cooked meal this is THE SPOT to go too. They treat you like family in here. And the food is just A-MAZE-ING!!!!

    Excellent food! Chicken was nice and crispy! Shrimp & Grits excellent! The Beignets are awesome!!!
