Lotus Grill & Noodles cuisine style is French-Vietnamese style, specializing in Beef Noodle Soup or "Phở", grilled rice dishes and grilled vermicelli bowls and many more. With a full menu from appetizers to lunch and dinner, you'll find something for everyone of all ages. You can choose from appetizers such as Crispy Spring rolls, Summer rolls, Calamari, Viet Chicken Wings etc. We do carry Viet sandwiches ("bánh mì"), especially grilled chicken/beef/shrimp "bánh mì" - you could not find many places in town to offer this! People love our weekday lunch specials since you'll get a reasonable price of an excellent lunch package to fill you up with delicious and healthy foods w/drinks. This is our quick and convenient way for office workers to enjoy their good lunches in less time. You should try our special Spicy Beef Noodle Soup (or "Bún Bò Huế") with a saté sauce. It is our customer's favorite for its hot spicy beef broth.

The "Happy Hour" as stated on their website fails to mention that to get the drink special you must also buy an appetizer. Other that that slight misunderstanding, the spring rolls and Sizzling Beef I had were excellent! Glad to have found a new place to dine, though I miss Medi quite a bit.

Wide selection of appetizers & entrees; pho was excellent but was only one of many creative options. Service was attentive - and patient with Vietnamese food novices. Great value.

Being 2 p.m., There were only 2 other diners besides the staff eating. When we were greeted, I told the waitress that I made a reservation for 2 under my name. She acknowledged me but I doubted that she was going to confirm that I kept my reservation with OpenTable. The only reason I chose this restaurant was because I was able to make a reservation through OpenTable. I included a note that I didn't like cilantro and didn't want it in anything I ordered. I ordered the spring rolls to share. They were VERY greasy. I also ordered the Pho #1. I asked if it had cilantro in it. I was told it did but it can be left off. When my order came, there was cilantro on top. When I asked about it, the waitress that took the order came over, apologized and took it away. I told my husband that I hope they don't skim off the cilantro but instead remake it. The Pho came back quickly. As I started to eat it I saw a cilantro leaf. Then I started fishing out more pieces of cilantro. The waitress came back and I showed her what I fished out. She apologized and took the Pho away a 2nd time. When she brought me another bowl, it was freshly made with the veggies on another plate. By now I didn't have time to eat it. My husband had finished eating his stir fry. I gulped down about half the Pho, we paid and left. Didn't enjoy my lunch at all. No part of my lunch experience was above average. I've had much better. As a result 3 stars was a generous rating for average meal. It should be 2.5 stars.

I love that there are so many vegetarian options. I enjoyed the lemongrass tofu. Restaurant was quiet, and I wondered why it wasn't more crowded.

Dinner was good solid Vietnamese food. More expensive than most Vietnamese, but that makes sense because of the Shirlington location. This is a class act, not the usual bare table soup restaurant. So you expect it to cost a little more. It is still lower price than the others in the area. The food, on the other hand, and the service, exceed the quality of other nearby spots.

Very good Vietnamese food. I go here often and cannot figure out why more people don't. Love the crunchy spring rolls and noodles and wider selection of beers. Forget the cocktails.
