   Overall experience good, but the beef brisket and short ribs were not appetizing at all, fatty and appeared to be cooked twice to reheat.

   They didn't have my reservation (done thru OpenTable the day before) and he disappeared to seek help. We were seated after a few minutes of physically showing them the confirmation on my phone. Went on Valentine's Day so expected it to be busy. However others seated after us, including larger groups, received their meals before us. Almost an hour later our food arrived, with the waitress informing us that the kitchen forgot our ticket. My steak was burnt on the outside and overdone. At least it was served burnt side up so they didn't try to hide it coming out of the kitchen. Waitress stated when serving that she would do "something" with the bill, which ended up to be 20% off. The table behind us was served something burnt as well and she said the same thing to them when serving their food. Overall nicely decorated, quiet restaurant.

   The food was Excellent. Great menu options. Unfortunately there were two tables near us with small children that were not happy. The server was very busy and forgot to bring back offered and then requested services.

   Friendly server but slow service. Food was greasy and heavy. Not the finest dining in Alexandria as advertised. Waited 10 minutes for bill and had to ask for it.

   My favorite restaurant in Alexandria. Every dish I’ve had has been outstanding in both flavor and presentation. A real gem in the area.

   Waited for 15 minutes at the host stand without anyone acknowledging us to be seated. Poor service.

   Our server was amazing. very attentive, kind, good energy. However the service was a bit slow. We waited maybe 4-5 minutes at an empty hostess station before anyone came to seat us. Once we ordered there was a bit of a wait for the food. My husband mentioned his was a bit cold. This is the 2nd time I have been there where there was either, slow service or an obvious lack of staffing. Otherwise, the food itself was very tasting. I would come again.

    Our server was amazing! The food was fast and fantastic. All the staff did really well with my 4 year old daughter who was VERY happy to be there (LOL) Definitely a perfect spot to get together and have a great meal. Will be back very soon!
