Longo Ristorante Pizzeria serves quality Italian cuisine in the Westerly, Rhode Island, with its convenient location in Historic Downtown. Our experience was created with more in mind than food. Our Ristorante takes a snapshot in time when every Sunday dinner at Grandma's was a family event. Enjoy the cozy casual atmosphere, sip on red wine, and socialize in the lively dining space. The full bar at Longo's offers a wide selection of cocktails, beers & wines. We offer a fully covered patio area which is open for summer, fall & winter months, protected for rainy days & above 45 degrees. The food adheres to traditional Italian fare. All meals without exception are cooked to order with the freshest ingredients possible. This was our first visit to Longo‘s. We had three appetizers and three dinners. The food was ridiculously good. They accommodated us with the table we requested. Literally can’t wait to go back again.

When we arrived we were immediately seated. Our waiter was very polite and checked back with us often. Our party of 4 had a wonderful dinner including apps and wine! It just couldn’t be more delicious!! I highly recommend the New Haven pizza, WOW!! My grandson had the chicken parm dinner and he was amazed!! Thank you!!

Great food, fair price but the system is slow. Dining room is crowded with tables inclose proximity. Despite the shortcomings, it is a favorite! Make reservations and plan on spending some time. Enjoy the experience.

We honestly were underwhelmed by the food. We ordered meatballs, Caesar salad and split the eggplant parm. Meatballs were good, sauce was okay, salad was very good, eggplant was okay. We eat out a lot and I feel we have a pretty decent palate for food. It wasn’t terrible, we just look for amazing. Wouldn’t be in a hurry to go back. Wine list was super adequate.

Seated quickly even though we arrived earlier than our reservation. Drinks served shortly, appetizer was delicious we had a charcuterie special. Entrees were a long wait and disappointing. The swordfish a regular menu item and the priciest was to be served with sautéed spinach and Parmesan risotto. The risotto was basic boiled white rice, overcooked and NO flavor of Parmesan. The fish was ‘swimming’ in a bed of sauce that also soaked the spinach. Not pleasant or tasteful. The other entree was penne with sausage and broccoli rabe - penne not overcooked but lacking seasoning and very dry. We have been here before but this was a very disappointing experience and expected much more. Server was attentive but very busy.

Longos never disappoints. For a delicious Italian meal, look no further. The best place to go. Everything is so fresh and plentiful. Thank you Jerry and the team.
