We booked for the special collaboration dinner with a 9pm booking. Perhaps the later booking contributed to the food service. Most of the hot dishes were served like warm at best, particularly a rice dish on a stone plate which didn’t appear to have been heated. Had to constantly ask for water top ups in table glasses. Had to call staff over to organise a drink from the bar. This is not the usual great service and attention we have received in this restaurant before. I hope they were just having one bad night!

We had a relaxed client dinner at Lona Misa, enjoying the 7-course tasting menu and some great Victorian wine as part of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival. Most of us had never eaten at a vegan restaurant before and we came out with the unanimous view that the food was great! We love the flavours and didn't miss the meat or cheese. Great job, Lona Misa!

Such a treat to eat amazing food that is vegan and not going to cause my husband concern (mentally not physically). As an omnivore I too also enjoyed it and would definitely go again. The tasting menu was great value. The deserts were exceptional.
