   An unforgettable dining experience from start to finish! From the moment we walked into Il Mulino New York in Boca Raton, we felt warmly welcomed. The ambiance was elegant yet comfortable, and the service was truly exceptional. Our server, Julio, was outstanding — friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. He made sure every detail of our evening was perfect, and his genuine hospitality elevated the entire experience. The food was nothing short of amazing. Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented, but the highlight of the night was a special octopus pasta prepared personally by the chef. It was beyond delicious — fresh, perfectly cooked, and bursting with Mediterranean flair. This was easily one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in South Florida. Thank you to the entire team for making it so memorable. We will definitely be back!

   Our first visit to Il Mulino. Recommended by a friend. We were seated immediately upon arrival but did not receive any wait staff greeting/menus/ water for several minutes. Seemed like alot of staff moving around attending to other guests. However, after we were given menus, the water, cheese, bread and zuchinni app were fairly quick to follow. We ordered Caprese to split and a few glasses of the Sancerre followed by the Red Snapper special and the Lobster Ravioli. The food was all excellent and our Captain - Henry - was very attentive. Only complaints were that we were under the assumption that they offered a Sunday "special" meal pricing and when we inquired were told it was not available on that particular Sunday- maybe due to Easter Holiday??? The ambiance is very nice however it is quite noisy and at times difficult to understand the wait staff. The tables are quite close to one another as well. It does live up to its $$$$ rating. We will try again on a Sunday but probably call to insure the Special meal pricing is available.

   Unfortunately our first experience at Il Mulino will be our last. The service was poor, took forever for staff to take our order, get the food and we had to ask for the check 3 times. The place was well staffed, half the tables were empty, but the head waiter was inefficient to keep thing rolling. Everyone was pleasant, was noisy and the food OK.

   To everyone reading this: we drive 1 hr to enjoy the closest taste of Italy here. There are no wrong choices. The meat fish or pasta is delicious. Drinks made to perfection and the service is over and beyond 5 stars.

   Love this place. Something was off last night. Out of the 3 dishes we had 2 were way too salty.
