Through a love of fresh ingredients and true hospitality- they bring unpretentious fine dining to Northwest Indiana. Handmade pasta sheets are featured in Chef's Lasagna layered with bolognese, mozzarella & provolone cheese. The Crispy Pork Shoulder is the entree most commonly raved about, but discover your favorite, from their small, but varied menu. We've enjoyed little Italy for years. This last visit was not the usual fantastic dining experience. Service was a bit slow but we had no hurry. However our food was served lukewarm. Server said he would advise the kitchen but did not offer to reheat. Our meals tasted great, just not hot. We'll go back as hoping just an off day. We were celebrating a birthday which didn't happen as we would have liked.

Very enjoyable from food to service. All 7 of us enjoyed our pasta very much and even the small portions were big enough to take home leftovers.

Little Italy never fails to impress me. The portions are great, and the flavors are exceptional. I had the Filet Medallions, which is one of my favorites. I am a salt person. When I go out to eat, I feel the need to put salt on everything to enhance the flavors. The fact that I have never had to add salt to my dinner at Little Italy, nor is their food salty, shows just how well they season their dishes.

We have been there many times and will continue. Excellent Italian food, some traditional, some more modern. Very large portions, even the "Little". Extensive menu, good wine list and beer selection. Service was excellent, as usual.

I'm sure there was a day that this was a delicious place to eat - but unfortunately we experienced just a below average to average meal. Our server didn't necessarily seem happy to be there...and all the servers seemed inclined to express that the "little" version was intended for 1 person and not enough to share - this is wholly incorrect. For sure there's plenty to share in the "little" size, for at least two people. The salad wasn't appealing: visually or tastefully. . The additional ziti plate of pasta that comes out is unnecessary and not that good tasting at all. We wouldn't go back, but maybe the day that this place was good will return....it seems like current times may have hit hard here.

Made reservations, seated right away. Everyone was friendly and the waitress was excellent. She explained all the dishes with great knowledge and the service was great!
